Errors while changing the status of the period close to On Hold

Problem:
User is trying to change the status of the period close to On Hold for AIBE and I am receiving the error message in the attachment.

could it be caused by having these expense reports journals dated 12/2022 unposted? we cannot post because we want to have them posted in January 23 and not 2022. how can we proceed?

Solution:

As per the error message, there are some journal entries that are not posted found in Period 12.

If you are trying to put period 12 of the Legal entity in the system to Hold, can you please post them and try to put them on hold.
