Obsolete: new user access to Dynamics F&O
This process is now obsolete after go live of Dynamics F&O user access request function in Fresh Service.
1. User raises a Miscellaneous service ticket to request access to Dynamics F&O giving details of an existing user whose access should be cloned.
2. Service desk to ensure details of the user to clone access from is provided. If not then get this confirmed by the manager of the user who is requiring access.
3. Service desk to send an approval request on the ticket via Approvals tab to user's manager.
4. Service desk assigns it to group "Accelerant - Dynamics F&O Support" and then to either Abdou or Bhanu.
5. Once user's manager approves the ticket then Dynamics support person holding the ticket will check in D365 if a worker record for the requestor has already been setup and if not will need to e-mail HR team Rebecca Cumberland, Tamara Herring and Shila Morimoto requesting the following details (No need to copy Dilan or Ken):
- Personnel number
- Employment legal entity ID
- Start date
- Confirm if user is an employee or a contractor
6. Once all above details are provided, Dynamics support person holding the ticket will create the worker record using the details provided in step 5 in the HR module, import the user and assign the required security roles in system administration module and ensure the person field is populated on the user form:
