Welcome to Mission!
Soteria is the support contractor for Accelerant. This letter is enclosed to inform you of what’s been set-up on your laptop, along with the important passwords/pins you will need to get you off to a fast start. Please take a moment to read through the three steps below before turning on your system.
Step #1: Software Installation
Do you need to install any software? No. We have installed the Accelerant-approved Microsoft Office suite of products and have initiated the license authorization. We have also pinned the major applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive) to the taskbar. Other applications installed were Adobe Reader and Google Chrome browser which have also been pinned to the taskbar.
Step #2: Phone Numbers
Do we have a wait for a phone number? No. We have assigned you a phone number as well as a conference bridge for your Team meetings. These number have already been added to your Team client, and they are tested and ready for use!
Step #3: Getting Started
What happens when I power-on my laptop? Once in Windows, you will see your installed applications on the taskbar. If the Multifactor authentication does not show up on your first sign in attempt, open an incognito tab and then go to the office portal (portal.office.com). This should trigger the multifactor authentication process. Upon completion, you should be ready to go!
